I am
totally in love with chick peas. Seriously. You can eat falafel, chickpea nuts
(find the recipe for those here) and….. hummus.
We already bought a lot of
hummus, so when I decided I want to eat more home-made food this was one of the
first recipes to try. It’s very easy, it’s a
mix-all-the-ingredients-and-puree-them kind of recipe.
Ingredients:
- 225
grams of chickpeas
- 2
spoons off tahini
- 2
cloves of garlic
- juice
of 1 lemon
- 4
spoons of olive oil
- 1
teaspoon cumin powder
- pepper
and salt
Mix all
the ingredients in a bowl and puree until its smooth. If it’s not spreadable
you can add a little bit of water or some more oil to the hummus.
It’s
delicious if you dip pita, cucumber or carrots in the hummus. It’s very nice
with almost everything actually.
Enjoy!
